First she got her body back, now she hopes to get her boys back.

Britney Spears is on the cover of the latest OK! magazine with an interview talking about her plans to get her kids back.

OK! say she’s cleaning up her act so the court will allow her to have her sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 19 months stay at her home for overnight visits. She’s also working to rebuild her relationship with K-Fed. The court hearing is set for 6 May 2008.

Britney also appeared two weeks ago on the cover of OK! mag talking about how she lost 15 pounds (approximately 7kg) in four weeks with five, small protein-packed meals a day and regular workouts, including pole dancing and jogging. She’s looking svelte these days!

In a move that’s set to shock the female fans of Neighbours, several of Erinsborough’s hottest bachelors will be leaving the show over the next few months.

In chronological order, the departures set to break our hearts are: Sweeney Young (Riley Parker), Jesse Rosenfeld (Marco Silvani), Dan O’Connor (Ned Parker) and David Hoflin (Oliver Barnes).

Sweeney filmed his final scenes last week and cast and crew are already gearing themselves up for yet more emotional goodbyes. Jesse will leave in early April, followed by Dan at the end of the month and David in early May.

The departure of so many good looking gentlemen is certain to leave a gaping hole in the heart of Ramsay Street. David Hoflin is currently in the running towards becoming Cleo Bachelor of the Year and Dan O’Connor is still the reigning King of Teen according to Dolly magazine readers.

Clearly this spells bad news for one lady in particular: Carmella Cammeniti (Natalie Blair). Although we don’t want to give away too much, we can reveal that one love of Carmella’s life is going to die. Will it be Italian Stallion Marco? Reliable ex-boyfriend Ned? Or will it be Oliver, the father of her beautiful baby daughter Chloe?

Thankfully things look an awful lot brighter for the actors themselves. Jesse and David are both planning to travel and former Australian Idol contestant Dan intends to release an album by the start of 2009. Sweeney, on the other hand, has some slightly less conventional plans.

“I will be turning to petty theft as my source of income,” he tells us. “I will also sell my furniture on eBay. Once I have exhausted my supply of furniture I will begin surviving on coins found underneath vending machines.”

On January 22nd Heather Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment. There is still no official word on how he died, however it appears that the Brokeback Mountain and Patriot star may have had a heart attack related to prescription medication he was taking for sleeping problems.

Heath had just finished filming the latest Batman film and had started on a new film project. Many stars from Tinsletown have commented on what a hugely tragic loss this is to the Movie world and to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing this extraordinary man.

Heath Ledger will be sadly missed.

Britney Spears has reportedly threatened to commit suicide because she is scared her parents will seek a court order forcing her into a mental hospital.

The singer told a friend that she was terrified of being sent to the “nut house” before heading to Mexico with paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib last week.

As she was followed around LA in her car by photographers, she yelled into her phone: “They’re not sending me to the nut house! No one can make me go if I don’t want to go - and I ain’t goin’.”

Ignoring her friend’s attempts to reassure her, she screamed: “See that? I just went through another stop sign. See what you made me do? I’m gonna hurt someone out here.”

She then reportedly said: “I’ll kill myself before I let them lock me up again. So tell Mama and Daddy I said so. Oh my God, it’s over for me.”

Spears’ father is thought to have begged her to seek psychiatric help after visiting her in hospital following a custody dispute at her home earlier this month. But she told him: “You’re not going to lock me up. You can forget it. I’m not going.”

A report has claimed that Birmingham-born Ghalib has been scheming to win the 26-year-old’s heart for the past 18 months and intends to sell his story to a tabloid for a large sum.

Spears is due back in court today for a further custody hearing over her two sons.

Simon Cowell has likened sitting through the American Idol auditions to “torture”.

The show’s judge said he was still shocked at how many of the early contestants continued to believe they could sing, despite the panel’s attempts to dissuade them.

The seventh series of the talent search kicks off in Philadelphia next week and Cowell said viewers could expect the usual mixed bunch of hopefuls.

He explained: “It is becoming increasingly like torture, but you have to give most of the people who come in at least three or four minutes, but it has gotten harder over the years.

“What’s amazing, even after seven seasons, and we’ve had some shockingly bad people this year, is how much they still believe that they’re right and I’m wrong and they got more argumentative with me this year. All I’m trying to do is help them.”

However, he added that it was worth sitting through the agonising early performances to find a deserving winner, saying: “You have to have that mix within the show. I think that if it was completely sanitised, the audition process, that everybody came in and they were just competent, I think it would probably be the more boring show on TV. So, it’s fun for me to watch. It is torture for me to do it.”

American Idol airs on Thursday and Friday nights on ITV2 from January 17.

X Factor winner Leon Jackson has been struggling to cope with his hectic new lifestyle, according to a report.

The Scottish singer, who turns 19 today, has followed an exhausting timetable of performances and TV interviews since beating Rhydian Roberts and Same Difference in the show’s final earlier this month.

“As soon as he won, Leon was whisked off to start his new superstar lifestyle and it’s been non-stop ever since,” a source told the Daily Star Sunday. “He is followed around constantly by TV crews and minders and is finding the whole experience exhausting.

“The pressure on him is constantly mounting and it looks like he will be pushed to his limits. A lot of people did worry about how he would cope with all the limelight being so young - and the early signs aren’t looking good.”
